District Disposal Programs

The voucher will cover disposal costs of household hazardous waste for district residents. Residents are responsible for transporting waste to facility in Columbus - 645 E. 8 Ave., Columbus, OH. To request a voucher, please email lshreve@pickawaycountyohio.gov or call 740-420-5452 with the following information prepared: 
  • Name as listed on photo ID
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • List of items for disposal and approximated amounts

 

Commercial Recyclers

  • Environmental Enterprises: 645 East 8th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio (614) 294-1300
  • Propane Cylinders - Blue Rhino locations offer a recycling program for 20# grill tanks. Find a location. Check with your local retailer for details.
  • Helium Tanks - Please contact your local scrap yard - see these instructions from Balloon Time.
  • Medical cylinders should be disposed or recycled through the company it was purchased or received from. 
  • Motor Oil - Contact your local auto parts store
